THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE AT THE RING O’FIRE MARATHON AT ANGLESEY

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge lent their support to the Ring O ‘Fire Anglesey Coastal Ultra Marathon which took place at the Breakwater Country Park in Holyhead in Anglesey, Wales.  The duke officially started the race by ringing a bell.  This was the first time the duchess, who wore a light green tweed jacket, printed blouse and black fitted jeans, appeared in an official public function after leaving St. Mary’s Hospital with her newborn son, Prince George.  The duchess admitted that her baby, who was sleeping well and growing quickly, was being looked after by his maternal grandmother, Carole Middleton.  The Ring O’Fire Marathon, one of the most grueling marathons in the UK, takes place over three days total and covers some 135 miles.  Photos by Bauer Griffin and Getty Images.
