KING FELIPE OF SPAIN & QUEEN LETIZIA VISIT SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA

Spain’s King Felipe and Queen Letizia visited Santiago de Compostela, Spain on July 25, 2014.   Every year the northern Spanish city celebrates the feast day of St. James, its patron saint.  The city is a popular destination for tens of thousands of pilgrims.  This year the king and queen visited Santiago de Compostela not only to celebrate the feast day of Saint James, but also to remember the victims of the fatal rail crash of 2013 that killed 79 pilgrims on their way to the city.  Photos by Getty Images.
