On her final day of her state visit to France, Queen Elizabeth II on June 7, 2014, visited in the center of Paris, a flower market which was named in her honor, “Marche Aux Fleurs Reine Elizabeth II (Queen Elizabeth II Flower Market).” While touring the flower market, the queen, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh and President Hollande, greeted numerous well-wishers and unveiled a plaque to commemorate her visit. The queen also met members of Help for Heroes who were on a fundraising drive. President Hollande then bid the queen farewell at Villacoublay airport where she boarded a flight home.
