BRITISH ROYALS COMMEMORATE THE D-DAY LANDINGS

The Prince of Wales, Duchess of Cornwall, and Princess Royal on June 5, 2014,  participated in ceremonies commemorating the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings.  The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall were in Normandy, France where they met with military veterans and watched a parachute jump.  The prince also laid a wreath at The Third Parachute Brigade and Canadian Parachute Corps Memorial.  The Princess Royal was in Portsmouth, England where she attended a Drumbeat Service on Southsea Common.  Photos by Getty Images.
