The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were welcomed in Scotland on May 29, 2014. The couple, who hold the Scottish title, the Earl and Countess of Strathearn, traveled without their son, Prince George. The couple visited the Glenturret distillery and the Famous Grouse distillery where they partook in some whiskey tasting. They unveiled a plaque at MacRosty Park as well, cheered on by crowds. Crowds also greeted William and Catherine at the Forteviote village fete. The couple was presented with gifts for Prince George, including a mini kilt made in the pattern of the Strathearn tartan.
