THE PRINCE OF WALES COMMEMORATES REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY IN INDIA

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall, on an official visit to India commemorated Remembrance Day on November 10, 2013 when the prince laid a wreath at Kirkee Commonwealth Cemetery in Pune where over 1600 Commonwealth soldiers are buried.  In Mumbai, the prince and duchess paid a visit to St. John the Evangelist Church (the Afghan Church) where a commemorative service was held in honor of those who fell in service.  During their visit, the couple met a 92 year old veteran who is the last living holder in India of the Burma Star.   Photos by Getty Images.
