THE DUKE AND DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE DAZZLE AT A TUSK GALA DINNER

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended a gala dinner and awards ceremony for the Tusk Foundation on September 12, 2013.   The duke is patron of the charity which  focuses on wildlife conservation in Africa.  The event marks the first time that the couple have appeared at a formal evening function since becoming the parents in July of Prince George.  William admitted that it was the first evening outing for him and Catherine since George’s birth and joked that no one should be surprised if they’re caught checking their cell phones to see that all was fine back home.  William also joked that baby Prince George “has a voice to match any lion’s roar!”  The glamorous event took place at The Royal Society in London.  The duchess dazzled the crowd, looking elegant in a glittering Jenny Packham sequined gown.  Photos by Getty Images, PacificCoastNews and Bauer Griffin.
