Members of the British royal family attended the Braemar Highland Games on September 7, 2013. The event, which draws thousands of visitors and participants annually, has a tradition that goes back to almost two hundred years. With the royal family on vacation in nearby Balmoral, the Braemar Games is a highlight of their Scottish break. The games, which takes place on the first Saturday of September, were held at The Princess Royal and Duke of Fife Memorial Park.
