Belgium’s King Philippe and Queen Mathilde were in Mechelen Belgium on September 1, 2013 where they attended the city’s Hanswijck’s Calvade. Every twenty-five years, the cavalcade is held featuring floats and participants dressed in costumes. The colorful spectacle takes place in the city’s historic center.
