With the celebration of the wedding in Stockholm on June 8, 2013, of Princess Madeleine of Sweden to Chris O’Neill, here are some photos of the bride taken through the years.  After a broken engagement in 2010, Princess Madeleine (31) is set to marry British-American financier, Chris O’Neill (38), whom she met in New York city.  O’Neill, from a wealthy family, has an undergraduate degree in international relations from Boston University and a graduate degree in Business from Columbia University.  He is head of research at Noster Capital.  Princess Madeleine works  for the World Childhood Foundation, founded by her mother, Queen Silvia.  The Marshall of the Swedish court has let it be known that, “Mr. Christopher O’Neill has respectfully asked to remain a private citizen and not be granted royal status.”  Photos by Corbis.
