QUEEN ELIZABETH II VISITS THE ROYAL GEOGRAPHICAL SOCIETY IN LONDON

Queen Elizabeth II visited the Royal Geographical Society in Kensington, London on May 29, 2013.  The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh were helping to celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the successful 1953 Ascent on Mount Everest.  The royal couple met with families of those who had been members of the Everest Expedition, including Peter Hilary (son of Sir Edmund Hilary) and Jamling Norgay (son of Tenzing Norgay).  Photos by Getty Images.
