QUEEN ELIZABETH II IS PRESENTED WITH A REPLICA OF HER CORONATION BOUQUET

Queen Elizabeth II was presented with a replica of her coronation bouquet in Buckingham Palace on May 29, 2013.  A delegation of the Worshipful Company of Gardeners, which included David Longman of Longman’s Florists, the firm that made the original bouquet in 1953, met with the queen in the White Drawing Room.  Using an oil painting and photographs as references, the bouquet was replicated and presented to a beaming queen in celebration of the sixtieth anniversary of her coronation in Westminster Abbey.  Photos by Corbis and Getty Images.
