Members of the Belgian royal family attended the presentation of the King Baudouin African Development Prize in Brussels on May 22, 2013. King Albert II was present as were Queen Paola, Queen Fabiola, Prince Philippe, Princess Mathilde, Princess Astrid, and Prince Lorentz. The King Baudouin African Development Prize acknowledges the accomplishments of organizations or individuals who have contributed in some exemplary way to development in Africa.
