PRINCE WILLIAM & PRINCE HARRY VISIT THE HELP FOR HEROES RECOVEY CENTRE

Prince William and Prince Harry were in Wiltshire on May 20, 2013 where they visited the Help for Heroes Recovery Centre.  The princes met and spoke with personnel and wounded veterans and their families.  William and Harry officially opened Tedworth House  which offers rehabilitation to veterans and ill and injured military personnel and well as respite care.  The Duke of Cambridge said in a speech that, “The British public’s unprecedented response to the likes of Help for Heroes, the Royal British Legion and countless other service charities was a heartfelt response to that sense of debt felt by countless tens of thousands of people, in fact the whole nation, who wanted to show support and gratitude.”  William also said that he and his brother, Harry, were “very, very proud” to see the work being done at Tedworth House.  In calling for continued support for the servicemen and women of Britain, William said, “This official opening is, I hope, much of a renewed pledge by all of us to go on supporting those who sacrificed so much as it is a celebration of an amazing achievement.”  Photos by Bauer Griffin and Getty Images.
