PRINCE HARRY AT WALTER REED ARMY MEDICAL CENTER AND ARLINGTON NATIONAL CEMETERY

On day two (May 10, 2013) of his visit to the U.S., Prince Harry, who is a captain in the British Army, visited the Military Advanced Training Center at the Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland where wounded soldiers are treated.  The prince talked with a number of soldiers undergoing physical rehabilitation.  The center’s cutting edge technology impressed Prince Harry who said, “we’ve got nothing like this back in the U.K.”  Prince Harry, dressed in his British Army ceremonial uniform of the Blues and Royals,  also visited Arlington National Cemetery where he paid his respects at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier as well as those who died in the war in Afghanistan.  Prince Harry also paid his respects at the tomb of President Kennedy.  Photos by Getty Images.
