THE DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE HONORS SCOUTS AT WINDSOR CASTLE

The Duchess of Cambridge showing her growing baby bump (she’s due to give birth in July), honored the achievements of four hundred scouts at Windsor Castle on April 21, 2013.  This event was attended by the Queen last year.  This was the first time the Duchess of Cambridge stepped in for Queen Elizabeth II at an event.  Catherine, who was a Brownie and Girl Guide, appeared in good health, as she accompanied the Chief Scout, Bear Grylls, in attending the National Review of Queen’s Scouts.  Many of the scouts present were awarded The Queen’s Scout Award, which is the highest honor achievable by a scout.  A service followed at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor.  Photos by Bauer Griffin.
