On the occasion of St. Andrew’s feast day, the Duchess of Cambridge, on November 30, 2012, visited St. Andrew’s School in Pangbourne, Berkshire. The former Catherine Middleton was a pupil at St. Andrew’s from 1986 to 1995. For the visit, she wore a green and tartan ensemble, echoing the school’s uniform. During her visit, the duchess met with students, teachers and staff and partook of activities. She also met the school’s hockey team and high heels did not deter her from joining a group of twelve year-olds for a training session. While visiting St. Andrew’s, Catherine admitted “some of my happiest years” had been spent as a pupil there. Photos by Bauer Griffin and Getty Images.
