The Duchess of Cambridge visited the Natural History Museum in London on November 27, 2012, for the official opening of museum’s Treasures Gallery. Catherine wore a bright green long-sleeved pleated Mulberry dress for the occasion and sported a new hairstyle. The Treasures Gallery, which opens to the public on November 30, displays some of the more extraordinary specimens from a stellar collection of the one the most well-known museums in the world. In a speech she gave, the duchess said that, “The Natural History Museum has a very special place in the heart of this nation. William and I are just two of millions of people who have passed through these doors, and marvelled at the spectacular wonders of the natural world, housed in this beautiful gallery.” Photos by Bauer Griffin and Getty Images.
