Members of the Belgian royal family attended a Te Deum Mass in the Cathedral of Saints-Michel-et-Gudule on November 15, 2012 to celebrate King’s Day in honor of Belgium’s monarch. The current reigning monarch is King Albert II who ascended the throne in 1993 following the death of his brother, King Baudouin. In attendance at this year’s Te Deum were King Albert’s children, Prince Philippe, Princess and Astrid, and Prince Laurent, and their respective spouses, Princess Mathilde, Prince Lorentz, and Princess Claire. The royals also greeted the crowds outside the cathedral who had gathered to watch the proceedings and give their good wishes. Photos by Getty Images.
