On November 14, 2012, the Prince of Wales celebrated his 64th birthday in New Zealand where he and the Duchess of Cornwall have been on an official visit as part of the Diamond Jubilee Tour of Papua New Guinea, Australia and New Zealand. Prince Charles was presented at Government House in Wellington, with a colorful cake to mark his birthday. The Prince of Wales met with the cast and crew and director of the new ‘Hobbit’ film at Weta Workshop. Charles also met with farmers at Waipiko Farm. On November 16, the prince and the duchess danced with members of the public at the Dance-O-Mat during a visit to Christchurch. Because the earthquake of 2010 destroyed many venues, the Dance-O-Mat had been set up to give people the opportunity to keep dancing. Photos by Getty Images.
