As part of the Diamond Jubilee Tour on behalf of Queen Elizabeth II, the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall are on an official visit to Papua New Guinea. On November 4, 2012, the Prince of Wales, presented new colors to the Royal Pacific Island Regiment in Sir John Guise Stadium, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. The couple also examined an orchid called ‘Dendrodiun Camilla’ which is named after the Duchess of Cornwall during a visit to the National Bird of Paradise and Orchid Garden. The trip to Papua New Guinea is the the first leg of the couple’s Diamond Jubilee Tour taking in Papua New Guinea, Australia and New Zealand. Photos by Getty Images.
