QUEEN ELIZABETH II UNVEILS A DIAMOND JUBILEE STAINED GLASS WINDOW

On November 1, 2012, in London, Queen Elizabeth II unveiled the Diamond Jubilee Stained Glass Window at The Queen’s Chapel of the Savoy.   Located just off the Strand, the chapel has a long history dating back to the 1200s.  It is one of the private chapels belonging to the British sovereign. It has also been the chapel of the Royal Victorian Order since the reign of King George V.  Photos by Getty Images.
