The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge continued their Far East tour with a visit to a rainforest in Borneo on September 15, 2012. The couple was in the Danum Valley research center and and learned of the conservation efforts being made there. William and Catherine, wearing hiking gear, were hoisted up a 130 foot tree. The couple also crossed a canopy to take a closer look at their surroundings. The Duke of Cambridge is a Fellow of the British Royal Society. The society runs a research in the Danum Valley station dedicated focused on studying the rainforest there. Photos by Bauer Griffin.
