QUEEN’S ELIZABETH II GRANDDAUGHTER, ZARA PHILLIPS COMPETES IN THE DRESSAGE EVENT AT THE LONDON OLYMPICS

On Day 2 of the Olympic Games in London (July 29, 2012), Queen Elizabeth II’s granddaughter, Zara Phillips, a member of Great Britain’s Equestrian team, rode her horse, High Kingdom, to compete in the Dressage event.  The event was held at Greenwich Park and in the stands to show their support were Zara’s grandfather, the Duke of Edinburgh, and her mother, the Princess Royal, herself an Olympian and champion equestrian rider.  Photos by Getty Images.
