Princess Estelle of Sweden, the three-month old daughter of Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and her husband, Prince Daniel, was christened on May 22, 2012 in ceremony filled with pomp. The christening of the future heir to Sweden’s throne was presided over by the Archbishop of Uppsala Anders Wejrydwas in the chapel of the Royal Palace in Stockholm. The archbishop sprinkled water over the head of Princess Estelle Silvia Ewa Mary whose godparents include: Prince Carl Philip of Sweden; Crown Princess Mary of Denmark; two future kings: Norway’s Prince Haakon and the Netherlands’ Prince Willem-Alexander; and the baby’s paternal aunt, Anna Westling Söderblom.
