QUEEN ELIZABETH II AND THE DUKE OF EDINBURGH VISIT LIVERPOOL AND CHESTER ON A DIAMOND JUBILEE TOUR

Queen Elizabeth II continued her Diamond Jubilee tour of Britain.   On May 17, 2012, she and the Duke of Edinburgh visited Liverpool and Chester.  During a visit to the Merseyside Maritime Museum in Liverpool, the queen took a ride on the Yellow Duck and amphibious vehicle.  In Chester, Queen Elizabeth visited Chester Zoo where she traveled on a monorail and  unveiled a plaque to open the Chester Zoo Diamond Jubilee Quarter.  Photos by Getty Images.
