QUEEN ELIZABETH II VISITS WALES AND THE SOUTHWEST OF ENGLAND ON HER DIAMOND JUBILEE TOUR

Continuing with her Diamond Jubilee Tour, Queen Elizabeth II, accompanied by the Duke of Edinburgh, on their second day in Wales, visited on May 1, 2012, Sherborne Abbey, the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and the Food Fair.   The royal couple was met by cheering crowds on May 2, 2012 in Yeovil, in the southwest of England.  The queen visited Nine Rivers Park and cut a specially baked Jubilee cake designed by students at Yeovil College.  Photos by Bauer Griffin and Getty Images.
