KING CARL XVI GUSTAF AND QUEEN SILVIA IN FRANCE

King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden and his wife, Queen Silvia, visited France where on September 22, 2011, they attended the Swedish Club’s 75th Anniversary in Paris.  Also on the 22nd, the couple attended the “Master Art’ Exhibition opening at the Palais Imperial de Compiegne in Compiegne.   And on September 23rd, King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia visited the Musee National Des Chateaux de Malmaison et Bois-Preau.  The Chateaux de Malmaison was the home of Josephine, Napoleon I’s first wife.
