Princess Elisabeth of Belgium, the eldest child of Prince Philippe of Belgium and his wife, Princess Mathilde, was the center of attention in Ghent, Belgium on September 7th. The nine-year-old Princess inaugurated the Princess Elisabeth Children’s Hospital in the city. Dressed in a bright pink dress, Princess Elisabeth carried out the inauguration well, which must have been a somewhat daunting task for the little girl. Elisabeth was accompanied by her parents; and Princess Mathilde was especially helpful in guiding her daughter through her important task.
