63RD ANNUAL RED CROSS BALL IN MONACO PRESIDED BY PRINCE ALBERT II AND PRINCESS CHARLENE

The 63rd Annual Red Cross Ball has taken place in Monaco, attended by Prince Albert II and his new wife, Princess Charlene.  Also in attendance were the prince’s sisters, Princess Caroline and Princess Stephanie, along with 800 guests.   The ball marks the social highlight of the principality and is a full dress gala event.  This year marks the first time that Prince Albert, as the sovereign prince, has attended with his wife, Charlene.  The new princess looked very fashionable in vivid fuchsia colored strapless ball gown.  The princess also wore a spectacular sapphire and diamond Van Cleef & Arpels necklace, a gift from her husband, Prince Albert.
