A FASHION RECAP: CATHERINE, DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE’S DRESSES DURING HER CANADA TOUR, 2011: DAY 1

FOR FANS OF CATHERINE’S SENSE OF STYLE, HERE’S A FASHION RECAP OF HER TOUR OF CANADA AND THE U.S.

As that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have ended their official visit to Canada and the U.S., now would be a fun time to take a look back at the dresses Catherine chose during the trips.  It was reported before the couple left that the Duchess would bring with her, some 40 changes of outfits.   For Catherine’s first royal tour, I think the verdict should be an overall success.  As has been reported, the Duchess did not travel with a personal dresser, but did have her hairdresser along who helped with her long tresses.   Overall, it was not surprising to find that Catherine kept to her favored tailored, classic look.  There were no overly fussy dresses.

I have chosen to refrain from saying who the designers attached to the clothes (and shoes) are, as most of you who they are by now.  I will just let the images speak for themselves.  So for all you fashionistas out there, here’s a recap of Catherine’s outfits, starting today with Day One: Ottawa, Canada.
