WILLIAM & CATHERINE PLANT A TREE IN OTTAWA: DAY THREE OF THEIR VISIT

DAY THREE OF THE CAMBRIDGE VISIT TO CANADA: TREE PLANTING CEREMONY IN OTTAWA

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge followed royal tradition by planting a tree – a Canadian hemlock – to commemorate their visit, as other royals have done in previous visits to Canada.  The tree planting ceremony took place at Rideau Hall, the official residence of Canada’s Governor General.  The couple later attended a reception at the Canadian War Museum where they unveiled a mural.   Their next stop: Montreal.
