WILLIAM AND CATHERINE IN MONTREAL: VISITING A HOSPITAL AND TRYING THEIR HAND AT COOKING IN QUEBEC
Some protests from a small number of anti-monarchists did not mar the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s first stop in Quebec. On Saturday, July 2nd, the couple arrived in Montreal. They visited the Sainte-Justine University Hospital Centre and met with patients and their families. The couple then headed for a cooking workshop at the Institut de Tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec. Dressed in chefs whites, William and Catherine took part in a cookery demonstration and tried their hand at showing their culinary skills. William took a light-hearted approach, joking about being hungry. Catherine, who admitted to liking to cook simple dishes, showed her skill at wielding a knife.
